Well i'm back in good ole London town, in my fab little house, it just gets better and better...my rent is 90 quid a week which is good to start with in west central, BUT added to that I found out that everything and I mean EVERYTHING is included! broadband Sky TV, phone...and we have a washing machine and a bath! its lovely...may never leave it.
On the medical side, we had disection yesterday, I'm in Y2 table 13 which sucks cos I'm not will all my 1st year disection buddies. I am with dabs and faha oh and sid and eshad so I spose it aint too bad. The first disection of the year was a bit of a joke really, we were given an hour to disect half o the back of the cadaver down to the underlying muscle with exciting names like Trapezius and Latissimus dorsi, well it couldnt be done and so we r seriously behind.
Disection makes me sad. Especially thinking that this time last year when we were starting disection this person was walking around like us....its just quite sad really.
Oh dear....Loook!! This was the fateful day when we did the xmas episode of 'Songs of Praise' in Castleton. But more importantly...look at the GIANT HAT I decided to wear! Everone is smiling happily even the person who is obscured by the HAT FROM HELL! Its not my fault tho...someone should have told me............Thats not the worse bit tho this is'nt just my own personal copy which I can rid from the world by burning ripping etc. this is ON THE INTERNET. I mean can u believe people would be that cruel? Me with a huge hat with tinsel wrapped round and a yellow Celtic scarf on is recorded for ever on the KCC web site!
Oh by the way the one in the bottom right corner is Melissa C her and Phil had MATCHING hat and scarf sets on! (if I go down i'm taking someone with me!!).
Well as you can see, I went to Chester zoo on err Sunday. It was completely sweltering but that made it excellent for slide photography, I shot 4 rolls and hopefully I got a couple of good ones. These were on my crappy phone camera (as all my piccys have been upto now) but I think they look ok. Pete goes back to school tomorrow- now year 8! we wnt shopping in Buxton and I drove over 'The Cat 'n' Fiddle' I managed to avoid the sheep, motocycles, maniac drivers and the dodgy corners and arrived safely! Whew.
Oh by-the-way that lizard thing, I am reliably informed by peter, is a white axolotl!
Peter and I went to Stockport for a quick shop today, he wanted a cricket set, not just a bat but the WHOLE set, which naturaly I was left to carry all the way through the town. This is when we stopped for a coffee in M+S cafe, I think its a cappuchino but what ever it was he's got it all round his mouth!! tut tut. After lunch I made mango ice lollies and sunbathed in our fields...heaven!
Well I felt it necessary to decribe yesterday properly, as in my first entry you may have formed the imprssion that it all went well (excluding the Megabus bit). I arrived in London after 6 HOURS on a bus from Buxton, then I walked to Victoria tube with my MASSIVE bag and caught the tube to Kings Cross. Now remeber it was like 100 degrees, so by this point I was quite hot. I then walked upto my house and arrived at about 3:30. Then Ruji didn't bloody turn up till 5:30!! I had to sit there like a lemon waiting for my house key. THEN IT GOT REALLY BAD! I had to get a present from Oxford Street but by then I only had an hour before the bus! Fortunately I made it just in time but I now understand why some people hate the tube (one guy stared at mi boobies all te way to Euston!! He wasn't even nice looking!).
Whew I finally have one of these thingys. I came back from London last night on the crappy Megabus, ok thats harsh, and for £1 fare I really can't complain. My house is getting done up, we now have granite work sufaces and a posh cooker!! Once I work out how to use this bog thing I will put up a piccy for all to gaze at!
